Ylang Ylang means “flower of flowers” or “fragrance of all fragrances.” This fragrance is traditionally used in aromatherapy to help with depression, fear, and anger. It also has a reputation as an aphrodisiac. The flowers are commonly spread on the beds of the newly married in Indonesia. The scent is sweet and floral. It combines nicely with the scent of honey and vanilla. Extra shea butter and mango butter was added for extra moisturization. This soap retains all of the moisturizing glycerin that is formed and does not leave a soapy residue
Each bar of soap contains all natural ingredients including shea butter, mango butter, coconut oil, olive oil, palm oil, organic local WA honey, and goat milk. NO water, tallow, or lard has been added. My goat milk comes from Summerhill Dairy. This dairy farm has been verified as a Certified Humane. Their milk contains no artificial growth hormones, no antibiotics, and no preservatives or additives. The goats are fed a nutritious diet free from growth hormones and unnecessary antibiotics. .
This is a cold process soap that has been handmade, handcut, and cured for 8 weeks. It is recommended to use the soap after 4 weeks cure time. However, cold process soap is like fine wine… the longer you age it, the better it gets. There are several ways you can make soap. In my opinion, cold processed soap is far superior to other soap making methods since it does not reach high temperatures. Thus keeping the vitamins, minerals, and other properties of the oils intact. Each bar will vary in size weighing between 4 to 4.5 oz. I do what ever I can to save the environment. It will come wrapped in tissue paper instead of plastic with a list of the ingredients. The open air also extends their shelf life.
Don't let the low price fool you. I use the highest quality oils, butters, fragrance and essential oils. Most of my ingredients are from reputable soap making companies like Bramble Berry and Essential depot. I am also committed to buying CSPO (Certified Sustainable Palm Oil). I know I have a lot of competition. I am new to Etsy and the low price allows consumers to try my products. More importantly, I want to provide natural and organic products to those who want to try or can not afford such products at the extremely over-priced department stores.
